CRITERIA :
- Movies in the TOP 10 must have been released theatrically or on a streaming service in the United States in 2022.
- I personally had to have seen it, however for the WORST 10 MOVIES list POPCORN UNHINGED does NOT need to have posted a full review for the movie.
As much as I love Matt Reeves direction in the latest PLANET OF THE APES reboot series, his direction in this thing comes across as a film crew hiding under a tarp trying to avoid getting detected by monsters, so all the cast members are told to just quietly whisper all of their lines. Wait, isn't that sort of the plot of a completely different movie? If this was a 15-minute short, it might have worked but instead, we are expected to suffer through nearly 3 hours of this sadistic coma-inducing snore-fest. I couldn't stand this thing.
