SCOOBY-DOO MYSTERY INCORPORATED: SEASON 1 EPISODE 22 – ATTACK OF THE HEADLESS HORROR

A Headless Horror tries to get an adventurer to stop treasure hunting. The gang is on the case since Fred loves this dude and his ability to escape traps.

The creature in this episode is massively awesome. The set up for the villain is even better. One pretty rad thing about this episode is that Velma and Shaggy finally start talking again. Even Scooby seems less irritated by the fact that they are getting along.

This is another episode where the villain actually accomplishes their goal, and one of Fred’s traps works due to out-thinking the villain. This one has a jungle, Indiana Jones type feel to it and involves a legend behind the villain which is characteristic of some of the best episodes in the series.

Best Quote - “What in the name of kettle corn is going on here?” – Sheriff Stone.

Overall I have to give this one a 5 out of 7, just because it doesn’t have quite the depth of some of the other episodes, but it’s definitely one I love watching when looking back at this series.
