CRITERIA :
- Movies in the TOP 10 must have been released theatrically or on a streaming service in the United States in 2021.
- I personally had to have seen it. None of the movies considered are without a full review.
If this movie had come out last year, it may have been as high as the 2nd best movie. In this year's crazy crowded field of flicks, it's gotta be down at #9. One of the great things about this movie is that it pays just enough homage to the original series without feeling like it had to go out of it's way to suck up to fan opinion. Of the part 4's that came out in 2021, it was the superior film with slightly better casting than THE MATRIX: RESURRECTIONS. Actually I guess, if you don't count GHOSTBUSTERS 2016 in the mix this is actually the 3rd in this series. Having said that you should count GHOSTBUSTERS 2016 though, because it was also incredible.
