AVENGERS GRIMM (2015)

Another parasite film from The Asylum studios AVENGERS GRIMM is clearly based on the “team-up” concept from MARVELS THE AVENGERS.

In this one, they are taking some classic Grimm tales and cramming them into a low budget crap a thon. Rumpelstilskin (played by B movie titan Casper Van Dien) destroys a magic mirror and escapes into the real world. Somehow he is able to get into a position of power while Snow White (who is bossy as hell in this thing, played by Lauren Parkinson) manages to accomplish almost nothing because in this world she isn’t in charge of anything. Anyway, Rapunzel, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella also manage to get into the real world and now they are trying to take down Rumpelstilskin and a man painted gray (damn) named Iron John (played by Lou Ferrigno). 

Seriously this flick looks worse than what you would end up within a high school film talent show. Zero script and zero effort. It all kind of sucks, because in the right hands this could have been really fun or at least mildly interesting. If you like this type of stuff, Lauren Parkinson will be staring in at least 2 more movies in the next year. Rileah Vanderbilt probably best known for her role as Dougherty in HATCHET III is also in Mega Shark vs. Kolossus (which will also feature Milynn Sarley who played Cinderella in this movie) and has been a regular in the Team Unicorn TV series is in this and it’s kind of a shame because she is far better than the role. 

No one in their right mind is running to this flick on a streaming service, but if you do,  consider yourself warned. It’s not even the fun kind of terrible. The effects are boxed program garbage, the acting is beyond bad. If you know how THE ASYLUM works, we epic incompetence from them, but this one is just brazenly pathetic.
