WHAT: BYZANTIUM
WHY: This thing made the rounds in 2012, but didn't get wide release on DVD until late 2013. The movies promotes itself as being the best vampire movie since LET THE RIGHT ON IN or LET ME IN. In my opinion the almost anti-pire premise of the film is years ahead of what the genre is ready for.
